As you might know, ClosingPage was born in Atlanta Tech Village. ATV is more than a cool co-working space. It's a pay-it-forward community, a tribe and really a family of inclusive and interesting founders.

This quarter, we decided to get back to the roots and celebrate Atlanta's and our very own ATV's diversity. In this series, we'll introduce you 1 gritty founder every Friday and ask them three simple questions about their startup journey. So, let's get to it.

VOL1. FEATURING BARBARA JONES, FOUNDER OF FREEING RETURNS

WHAT IS FREEING RETURNS ABOUT?

Freeing Returns is a merchandise returns platform for retailers.

WHAT'S THE MOST EXCITING THING GOING ON IN YOUR STARTUP?

In December 2017, we brought on our first early adopter. So really, our goal is to make our customer super happy. They came to us as they were facing challenges handling their returns fraud and they also wanted mobile-based returns. We're staying focused on delivering on the promise and delighting them.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE STARTUP MILESTONE YOU ACCOMPLISHED IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS?

We were able to finish the Ascend 2020 program, an incubator we got into last year. We had our demo day yesterday. I was so nervous and had to stay up all night but hey it turned out great and now I have a really great pitch deck.
