Our newest feature on the #FoundersOfTheVillage series, ft. Jessica Goodwin
It’s Friday and that means it’s time for us to shine spotlight on an awesome founder that you might want to know about.
Today, we have Jessica Goodwin with us and here’s a few things she had to say about her startup journey. So, let's get to it.
VOL3. ft Jessica Goodwin, founder of MomSquad
WHAT IS MOMSQUAD ABOUT?
MomSquad is all about making moms day to day lives easier! As a mom of three boys, I know finding trustworthy help can be challenging and who better to trust than another mom? MomSquad app provides on demand help for moms by moms for last minute needs such as babysitting, carpool and errands. MomSquad is the virtual village all moms have been waiting for and we are excited to launch in Atlanta soon!
WHAT'S THE MOST EXCITING THING GOING ON IN YOUR STARTUP?
We are currently finishing up our development of V1 while building our team and getting ready for our official launch. It’s so exciting to be creating a new product with an experienced team who has worked together before in the parenting tech vertical. It really does take a village and the community, education and resources at ATV have been instrumental to our growth.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE STARTUP MILESTONE YOU ACCOMPLISHED IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS?
Bringing on our technical co-founder, Dale McIntyre, has been our biggest accomplishment! He is a dad of 3, full stack developer and brings over 25+ years of software engineering experience to the table. He has contributed to the development and launch of major brands like WebMD, StoryMark, KidsLink and more. We are so excited and lucky to have him!
